Roberta Ferraris is an author, nature illustrator and environmental trekking guide (particularly along the Via Francigena, between Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany and Lazio). With Terre di mezzo Editore she has published, among others, Guida alla Via Francigena in bicicletta, Sardegna a piedi, Gli eremi di Celestino V.

Luciano Callegari, a walker of long standing, is the creator of the website pellegrinando.it. He has published A Santiago lungo il Cammino del Nord and Guida al Cammino di Santiago per tutti.

Simone Frignani loves to go walking or pedalling along the trails and dirt paths of Italy, planning and mapping out new walks. He has published La Via Romea Germanica, Il Cammino di San Benedetto and Italia coast to coast.
